Abstract
The database is based on a literature review concerning Central European ground beetles and was part of workpackage 6 in the EU funded project BioFresh (www.freshwaterbiodiversity.eu). The data were collected from relevant literature (including local journals and grey literature) as well as from unpublished collections and private databases.
